HP Photosmart 5520 e-all-in-one-printer

I bought this printer HP Reconditioned. I did not setup within the 1st 30 days it was warranted. Now when I tried to setup, it does not recognize the setup catridges, I spent $50 on new catridges which I thought will work. Even those did not work. Now I am in a complete hole with the printer and the catridges going waste. Please help me! Thanks!

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips. Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

I see that the printer is not recognizing the Setup cartridges. To fix this issue, try the steps below:

Step 1: Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed

Step 2: Clean the ink cartridge and printhead contacts

Step 3: Clean the ink cartridge contacts again

Step 4: Reset the printer

For instruction: Click here

If issue persists, you can change the printer setting to accept the non setup cartridges.

I'm going to send you a private message with the information required to change the settings. The only reason why we are utilizing the instructions over the private message as these instructions are specific to your printer model.
