Hello,
After thoroughly cleaning the print head I got the subject error. I have found on various forums information that the printhead has to pump some ink, otherwise it detects it's empty. The problem is I can't get in the service menu to perform semi-reset.
|I have tried different combinations but still no success and the display keeps displaying the error (can't get normal menu too)
Any idea how I could get into service menu? I also have access from the browser - is there any trick to perform semi-reset from there?
Thank you in advance

Hi KrazyToad
Thanks for your reply.
I followed the mentioned post.
Unfortunately these steps didn't help. Printhead keeps moving etc. but eventually when I close the cover it goes into error state
Is there a way to access the service menu in the current state of the printer? Based on all research I did it's a matter of forcing the printhead to get some ink and calibrate which can be done only from the menu.
I read that some people (with the same error) manually injected ink into the tubes and eventually it worked but this is a very "dirty" solution...
Thanks for all the help
