HP Photosmart 6525
macOS 10.14 Mojave

My HP Photosmart 6525 won't turn on. The power light just keeps flashing. I've unplugged it and plugged it back in as the troubleshooting guide has instructed. When I push the power button, nothing is happening. At one point the screen flashed and said, "Powering down" so I'm assuming it was on?

This all happened when my husband tried to print a picture from his phone. We put HP photo paper in the printer and tried several times but received error messages. Then the error messages won't go away. That's when I turned off the printer and now it won't come back on.

I hate to buy a new one cause this one has been great up until now. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

@Meredith_H, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I would suggest you follow the steps from the document HP Inkjet Printers - Printer Does Not Turn On. If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
