Devon.
we were just fortunate enough to have warranty on the printer.
The replacement they gave us seems to have some troubles that are troublesome too .. with wireless connectivity to internet.. and does not switch from printing/copying to photo paper with out really messing things up the next time we use printer. seems that monthly there is either no scan - no print - no talk to interet - cannot copy and you name it issue.
she has an HP Envey 7640 - and i would not purchase this model again. because printing photos and regular paper is not easy or intuitive. and is a regular headache at this house.
she prints 1/2 and 1/2 photos and regular paper.. and has monthly issues with each.
i wish you good luck

I Have the same issue of the black blob of ink leaking out on the right hand side of printer. All of the other colors will print except the black which is either very streaky or non existent. My hp photosmart 7520 is not under warranty. I have only owned HP printers over a 27 yr span. I hope HP will treat me right when I visit with them....this is definitely an issue for many of their clients.

My HP 7520 is leaking ink on the top right side of the papater so that every page has this huge ink blot also it's affcting the rollres. It just started about 1 week ago. I bought it in 2014, I can't believe the life cycle is only 3 years. What can Ido to clean this up?

@AKE, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.
I understand that you are facing print quality issues with your HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer.
Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.
This could be an issue with the printhead.
And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Fixing Poor Print Quality
Let me know how that works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.

Congrats, @AKE for getting a response. I tried everything on that list but unfortunately I didn't purchase the extended warranty so I knew I was out of luck months ago. I purchased a Canon. No idea how it will stack up but I'm going to take a chance on the customer service being better if I run into trouble!
