Example: PHP Photosmart 7525 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New installed printhead on my HP Photosmart 7525 printer is not recognized.  This all started when my black ink would not print, so I installed new ink cartledge, didn't work, tried  to clean the printhead per HP solutions that didn't work, U Tube that didn't work , I got error message  "Printhead not Recognized", so I brought a new printhead and I am still getting the same error.  I have turned off machine and unplugged from electrical outlet, so many times with old ph and new ph.   I love this machine, hate to have to replace, in fact I haven't seen any new ones that look like they could replace this one.  Does anyone have a solution?

@grandma75, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I understand your concern, this sounds like a hardware issue. If you have already performed the steps from the document Printhead Errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
