Hi @IONAv, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @The_Fossette but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.

Recommend you uninstall the printer software using the method suggested  below. (Please have the printer turned off and disconnected during this process.)

Uninstall the printer from programs and features from the control panel.

Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it.

Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.

Click on print server properties.

You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.

Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.

Restart the PC.

Update the firmware on the printer using the control panel on the printer. (Will require the printer to be connected to your wireless network.)

Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,

Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.

It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files).

If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.

Restart the PC again.

Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.

Connect the printer only when prompted by the setup.

Let me know if this helped.

Thanks for the response given

I have a Lenovo Laptop with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office 2013

I am sending what I did with printer

Initially print a .pdf could not have solved this, I installed the app and then I moved in OneDrive .pdf document and we could print.

I HP installs and doctor, prompt after scanning HP Phtosmart B010 series is not the default printer. The printer is installed to a USB port.

Right-click the printer, I went with the slider Set as default printer, I clicked on HP and I got the message: error 0x00000709.

I clicked the HP Solution Center and tells me that the printer is installed. but Doctor is installed according to HP.

Now in document .xlx does not see the printer can not set the page can not print.

Although I could print, set the page .xlsx and .docx now miss the .docx.

Note: The printer operate at USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 not only.

When I want to print the .pdf document says: Before You Can Perform print-related tasks Such as page setup or printing a document, You Need to install a printer.

I deleted printed and installed it again, at the end of installation said that the printer is installed but the printer Default Printer Can not Be set.

I gave you order a command prompt: sfc \ scannow and appeared a list of printer operation.
