My printer was working fine and I ran out of ink in the Magenta cartridge.  Even though I was not using any color printing, my printer said I had to have ink in the Magenta cartridge.  I had never run into this before, but ordered a new Magenta cartridge from HP.  I loaded it in my printer and, since then, I cannot get a print test. It comes out blank.  I normally use color printing very sparingly and had recently bought two larger capacity black cartridges from HP.  The printer will not print in black at all, now.  Thinking there may be something wrong with the nearly new black cartridge, I replaced it with the brand new HP black cartridge and still can't get a print test or print job when selecting black cartridge only.
