I really do not know where the problem is: I keep on getting varying error codes, most of which are:
GET/DevMgmt/ProductStatusDyn.xml HTTP/1.1
HOST: local host
POST /ipp/print HTTP 1.1.
Content-Length: 187
Content - Type: application/ipp
HOST: local host
Please provide guidance how to tackle this.
thanks

Hi @johnb2009,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Do not worry, I'd be happy to help you!
The error you're encountering on your HP Photosmart D7260 printer seems related to communication issues between your printer and the connected device. This could be due to various reasons like a connectivity problem, outdated firmware, or a glitch in the printer's settings. Here's what you can try to fix it:
Restart Printer and Device: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. Also, restart the device (computer, phone, etc.) that you're using to communicate with the printer.
Check Connection: Ensure that your printer and the device you're printing from are connected to the same network. Double-check Wi-Fi or cable connections to make sure they're secure and functional.
Update Firmware/Software: Go to the HP support website and check if there are any firmware or software updates available for your printer model. If so, download and install them as they might resolve known issues.
Reinstall Printer Drivers: If you're using this printer with a computer, try uninstalling the printer drivers and reinstalling them. Sometimes, corrupted drivers can cause communication errors.
Check Network Configuration: Ensure that there are no firewall settings or security software blocking the communication between your device and the printer. Adjust settings if necessary.
If none of the above steps work, reaching out to HP support might be the best option. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or further assistance tailored to your printer's model and the issue you're facing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
