Hello, I currently have the HP DESKJET PLUS 4152 Printer. I want to know if the ink in this printer is pigment ink or dye based?
also, if I were to shop for printers, how would I know which use pigment ink?? What do I have to look out on ink cartridge and box?
what are the current HP printers that use pigment ink?

Hi,
You should review the ink cartridge specifications, it would not be listed on the box itself.
Most of the cases, a tri-color cartridge will be Dye-based, a single color cartridge is pigment-based, meaning a printer to use 4 individual ink cartridges will likely have all ink cartridges pigment-based, unlike printers with 2 ink cartridges where the tri-color is dye-based.
Such as the Officejet Pro 8000 / 9000 printers, these use all pigment-based inks
The Black cartridge for your printer is Pigment-based:
