Hello,  My HP9025 Inkjet Printer keeps throwing an ERROR Code of B305ED09 and it completely shuts my Printer down while this Error Code Flashes on the Screen.  The ONLY way to fix it, has been to UNPLUG my Printer from the Back/Wall and wait for a minute and then plug it back in.  I have UPDATED The Firmware via my HP Smart App and that has done nothing except to Increase this Error Message.  So if I have done everything asked by HP previously on this Error Message, what can I do to keep it from occuring again.  I work from home and this Error Message is extremely frustrating to have to deal with.  Happen 3/4/5 times per day. Ridiculous.  Never had this happen to an HP Printer Before.  Please help!!!

Updated informaton from yesterday's post that I have not received a response to yet.

Today my Printer is doing the Blue Screen Flashing with a Different Error Code - B805E5B0.  Did the same exact things again, unpluged the Printer from the Back and the wall Plug, and Plugged Back in.  It worked for about 15 minutes before another error message popped back up again.  What gives with this HP Printer Issue?  Please Please advise.  Thank you.

Hi @FLAGRL75

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

I see that you are facing issues with your system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Reset the product:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello and thank you for responding to my two different Posts.

First I have had the First Error Message on and off for a few months at random.  10 Days ago we had to install a new Router for our WIFI.  Since that install the Error Message of several types are constant.  Every Hour without fail I am getting error message and the Printer is down completely until unplugged and reset.

In response to what you say to do above, I have done ALL of those things and it solved absolutely nothing.  Unpluging the Printer is the ONLY way to get rid of the error temporarily.  Updating the Firmware has always been at the top of my list.  My Printer is up to date.

So what exactly are the next steps with all of these errors. Please advise.  Thank you.

I too am having this problem. I have followed the instructions for unplugging and replugging the printer several times with the same flashing blue screen occurring soon thereafter.

My firmware is up to date.

Please send a private message with further instructions to get this issue sorted in order like you did for FLAGRL75 on  ‎09-04-2022 01:22 PM.

I have the same issue. It just started happening about a week ago and I have to unplug my printer every time I need to use it. Very frustrating.

Hello looking for a solution to the B305ED09 error code.  It happens 3/4/5 times a day.  What can be done to correct this error from reoccurring?

Thank you,

I also started having this problem today. What is the resolution? I really don't want to deal with this for a long time. Just send me the solution like you did the OP.
