My boss recently purchased an EPSON ET-4760 and connected it to our network for wireless printing. We have a second printer on our network the HP Officejet 8600, the issue I am running into is this: The HP printing won't stop sending and printing some kind of information to the EPSON. It happens about every hour or so and it is always the same information.

Here is what is being printed:

CONNECT xmpp004.hpeprint.com:5222 HTTP/1.0

CONNECT xmpp004.hpeprint.com:443 HTTP/1.0

CONNECT xmpp004.hpeprint.com:80 HTTP/1.0

CONNECT xmpp004.hpeprint.com:5223 HTTP/1.0

Nothing I have tried has worked, and I don't even know what else I can do to fix this. If the HP printer is off the EPSON works just fine, as soon as it turns on the EPSON will print the four lines of text stated above.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting issues with your printer, follow these steps to fix the issue.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Let me know how it goes.
