HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

My printer has stopped printing in colour. This seems to be happening in Documents and jpg / png files.

I cannot see the option to toggle from greyscale to b/ w to colour anywhere.

Everything has just gone missing in this regard.

I have ticked the option to print background colours and images but this seems to be the only thing that relates to it that I can find.

I use the HP Ink Cartridges and it just seemed to happen out of the blue.

I have looked at other support questions around this and have tried to navigate all the settings to try and resolve it but the settings do not seem to exist. I cannot find anything resembling the screenshots in the previously reported issues.

I have the original CD that came with the printer but I have not taken the step to uninstall and reinstall as yet.

Is this the best option at this stage?

I have also checked that all the drivers are up to date (and they are)...

Please help!

UPDATE - I hope this solution lasts but it has worked to solve the problem so far: (thanks to the HP Doctor application)

Official HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows | Free Download hppsdr.exe

I had to install it and run it and then restart my computer.

But now I can actually see the COLOUR and Black and White options when I go to print a document.

Thanks to a post I found that suggested it.

(Sorry cannot find it again to credit the author)

But Thank You!!!!
