When I try to activate apps on my printer to get print forms, I get connection error. It worked fine last week.

Any Ideas

My printer works fine over the network other than the printer apps

I believe Apps must be able to connect to the Internet.

Web Services makes this possible by connecting the printer to the Internet.

If it worked before, the setup is in place.

What to do?

You can try stopping - waiting a few seconds - and then restarting Web Services on the printer.

What else?

Wait it out.

Web Services does go down on occasion (on the server side).  When it does so, those areas affected have to wait for the service to resume.  As a rule, the outage lasts a few hours.  It can, however, last for days.

We at the community do not have any method to contact the source.

We cannot manage the downed service, and get any information on cause or expected return of service.

What else?

I don't have Apps switched on - IF I remember this correctly, the sorts of services provided by Apps might also be available on the Internet and can be found via your Browser on your computer.
