I bought HP ink cartridges for my printer, FROM HP themselves. When I put them in the color magenta and cyan are both SETUP cartridges, but not the blue or black. Now my printer won't print, or read those two cartridges, and trying to bypass two SETUP cartridges is seeming impossible without sending ALL of them back to wait another 2 weeks to get a full set that is not a mixed bag. It won't even let me print in grayscale or just with black ink.

Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
