HP Smart Tank 790 All-in-One

I Bought A HP Smart Tank 790 Printer Last Night, Today Morning I Went For Setup, So I Did All The Steps It Guided Me, But After I Installed My Printheads, It Showed "HP Software Is Setting Up The Printer, Please Wait", Then I Saw On My Mobile, My HP Smart App's Session Was Expired And I Was Logged Out Of My Account. When I Logged In, I Could Not Find My Printer, Nor I Can Setup It Again.

now my printer is stuck at that screen only. I Tried To Reset Network Seetings, But It Showed "Busy, Please Wait".

Anyone Please Help Me, It's Urgent

Hello,

Open the HP SMART APP and click the plus sign to add your new printer. Follow the prompts in HP Smart to connect and set up your printer.

If the printer is still stuck on the setup screen then I'd  suggest you to unplug the power cord from back of the printer while the printer is ON.

Wait for 60 seconds and then plug in the power cord to the printer. Now follow the on-screen instructions on the printer.

Jabzi

Hello,

Try the below steps in sequence..

  1. Open the caratridge access door. Wait untill the carriage to move to the center and stop.
  2. Press and Hold the information button (i) untill all the buttons light up.
  3. Then hold the information button (i) and Cancel (x) button for about 6 seconds until the left side of the display shows 00 symbol and Wi-Fi button begins to blink.
  4. Close the ink access door. All of the buttons will briefly light up and blink Once. Loading icon will appear in he display. Once it disappear, the Wi-Fi button will blink.
  5. Now press the Power button or unplug the power cord from back of the printer to power it off. Wait for 30 seconds. Plug in the power cord and press the ON button.
  6. The Wi-Fi button will blink and the display shows Wi-Fi icon. Printer is now in setup mode. Now use HP SMART APP to install/setup the printer.

Hello,

Even when the buttons are not lit, you'd see a fainted impression (icon) of the buttons, mostly in faded grey color.
