Product: HP Deskjet 5820
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed the HP Smart app and now am facing issues as I am unable to connect my Printer on my home Wifi.

 

I see Network Settings in the HP Smart App, but I am unable to make any changes as its asking me for an  Admin Password.

I dont remember creating any admin login and password.Printer-1.jpgPrinter Error.jpg

 

How do I resolve this?

Hi,

Try using admin (all lower-case) as the user name with any possibly selected password, I would also suggest trying your wireless password as a common error is wrongly entering the wireless password as an administrator password.

Thanks Shomil, but that didn't help.

 

I am looking for a way to reset the password. Tried resetting the printer to factory settings but that method didn't work.
