I've purchase s supply of ink cartridges through Sure Supply, and I've been very happy with the service. However, my printer is no longer working and I'd like to return the un-opened cartridges for a refund. Is this possible? How do I go about it?

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have purchased a supply of ink cartridges through HP Sure Supply and the printer is not in a working state. You would like to return the unopened cartridges and would like a refund.

Usually, for unopened cartridges, you need to contact a dedicated team in HP via email. This team will guide you through the further course of action. I have sent you a private message with the contact information for that team.

Feel free to let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂

I followed up on your suggestion and after several emails was referred to the "HP Store". The store determined that I cannot return the print cartridges I purchased directly from HP because more than 30 days passed since I purchased them. It does not matter that it took me more than thirty days just to find out what department in HP is responsble for Sure Supply. It does not matter that the ink cartridges have a warranty through 2018.

They recommended that I go to a web site called HP Buy Back Program. I found the site, but my ink cartridges are not eligible for buy back.

I am sorely disappointed. I expected to be able to return items I purchased, but that is not true at HP.  I have given up trying to get a refund for my ink cartridges. I have learned yet another life lesson: I should not purchase ink cartridges to have on hand, but rather wait until I absolutely need them. I spent $149 on cartridges I can no longer use. I'll try selling them on E-Bay.
