HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Problem:  HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275, Serial No. [Personal Information Removed]

“52 Scanner Error” and inoperative printer/copier/scanner (connected to a MacBook)

The unit is plugged directly into a wall outlet (tried additional wall outlets).

Multiple attempts to initialize the unit have been unsuccessful.

Factory default settings have been restored.

There is no troubleshooting information in the User Guide, self-help section at www.support.hp.com or world wide web search for this particular model.

Replacement of the “laser scanner assembly” is recommended for other HP models; however, no such information exists for this particular model.

(1) Any recommendations?

(2) What is the part number of the “laser scanner assembly” for this printer?
