HP Officejet Pro X476dw MFP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

X476 printer has vertical columns of non-printed areas on pages when printing or copying.  It has such columns when printing in  either color and black or white print-outs, but black seems to be marginally worse (more print missing).

I have disconnected the power supply, held power button for 15 seconds, and reconnected power suppply.  Same problem persists.

I have run level 1 and level 2 printhead cleaning processes, twice.  Same problem persists.  When trying to run a level 3 printhead cleaning, an major error occurs about half-way through the process, and the printer asks to be shut-down and restarted.  It does not finish the level 3 printhead cleaning, but just boots up like normal.  And the problem remains.

Each ink level is over 50%.

Ok so we  have the same problem. Do you have a solution?

No one in our company was able to find a resolution.

We bought a new, non-HP printer instead and have been very happy.

Has the unit been out of use for a while? It may be an issue of the print nozzles clogged or dried up. If you know how to enter  the support menu, I recommend running the Tap 21 mech report once or twice and see if there is any improvement.
