Hi @Mireyas,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Smart app!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

This issue usually happens if there is a problem with your HP account, such as a subscription issue (HP Instant Ink) or a sign-in error. Try the following troubleshooting steps:

Sign Out and Sign Back In
Open the HP Smart App, go to Account Settings, and sign out. Close the app, reopen it, and sign in again with your HP credentials.

Verify HP Account Details
Visit HP's official website and log into your HP account. Check for any alerts related to billing, subscriptions, or security verification.

Restart Printer and Computer
Power off your printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, then turn it back on. Restart your computer or mobile device and try printing again.

Update HP Smart App
Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart App installed. Update it via the Microsoft Store (Windows), App Store (iOS), or Google Play Store (Android).

Reinstall HP Smart App
Uninstall the HP Smart App, restart your device, then reinstall it. Log in and check if the issue is resolved.

Check HP Instant Ink Subscription (if applicable)
If you're using HP Instant Ink, verify that your subscription is active. If there is an issue with billing or account verification, it could prevent printing.

Factory Reset Printer (if necessary)
If the issue persists, reset your printer to factory settings:

  • On the printer, navigate to Setup → Printer Maintenance → Restore Defaults → Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Reconnect your printer and try printing again.

Let me know how it goes.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
