Dear Sirs,
Some days ago, I had a surge in the PSU of the printer (about 402V Phase/Neutral), and the printer is now "dead".
The energy supplier (Utilities) will make me a refund, as they know this was a man mistake during some operation, but to do this the need documentation:
- Repair quotation, were must be stated surge in the PSU;
- In case it’s not repairable or not economically repairable, the quotation must include price for new part and must be stated surge in the PSU.
The printer is no longer in warranty and as far as I know HP does not repair, so, I need a document as point 2.
Unfortunately, I have called the HP repair center in Portugal, and they were unable to help me.
Sirs, what should I do? Any suggestions?
Regards,
Nuno
