HP deskjet 3050
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HP deskjet 3050 will not power down and the buttons for copying and setup will not work.  I have tried disconnecting power lead and waiting 2 -3 mins and reconnecting through wall socket and it is still not working.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. Let's try a power reset - if that doesn't help, please follow the next step.

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the product.

  2. With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.

  3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  4. Wait at least 15 seconds.

  5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.

  7. If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button ( ) to turn it on.

If you have already performed the steps from the document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
