I'm going nuts.... My printer hasnt printed now for about three months, I'm VERY busy and it seems HP loves to sell products but to simply get a representative on the phone to help you it malfunctions is non existent. Someone PLEASE help.

I've downloaded every diagnostic tool they have on their website and nothing has helped, in fact everything has told me it has no idea or the info is unavaliable. It prints sets pages just fine but to actually print a document is like pulling teeth. What can i do?

My computer is a HP and it has Window 10 on it. I ALWAYS use my USB to print from my computer which is mostly what im trying to do at my house but i also have tried to print wirelessly from my phone just to check since it use to have no problem with that either and now it wont print from my phone either.

Can someone PLEASE help!!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Are you able to make a copy on the printer?
  • If you are using a USB cable, make sure the cable is no longer than 3 meters.
  • Do not use a USB hub. Connect the cable directly between the printer and the computer.

Installing HP Full-featured driver may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:

Step 1: Clean uninstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers

  1.  In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
  2.  Select your HP Printer
  3.  Select Uninstall
  4.  In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
  5.  In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
  6.  Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
  7.  Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
  8.  Click on the “Drivers” tab
  9.  Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
  10.  Select Ok
  11.  Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
  12.  Close Devices and Printers, Disconnect the USB cable, restart the computer.

Step 2: Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: The software will let you know when to connect the USB cable.

To know how to connect the printer wirelessly, click here

Make sure the printer and your mobile device/PC are on the same network for them to communicate.

Let me know how this goes.
