Hi @ArnoDeren
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP printer, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Here's a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to help resolve the issue:
1. Check Printer Connection
- Wi-Fi Connection: If you're printing wirelessly, ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You can check the printer's connection status through the printer's control panel or using the HP Smart app.
2. Set Printer as Default
- Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Find your HP DeskJet 4670 in the list of printers.
- Right-click on it and select Set as Default Printer.
- Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, and ensure that the correct printer is set as default.
3. Check Print Queue
There might be a stuck print job in the queue preventing further prints:
- Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your HP DeskJet 4670, and click Open queue.
- If there are any stuck or failed print jobs, right-click on them and select Cancel.
- Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select the HP DeskJet 4670, and check the print queue for stuck jobs.
4. Restart the Printer and Computer
5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers, click here
6. Reset the Printer to Default Settings
- On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button and the Resume button simultaneously for about 5 seconds to reset the network settings.
- You can then reconnect the printer to the Wi-Fi network via the HP Smart app or printer control panel.
7. Check for Firmware Update, click here
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
-Regards
