Windows 11
A few days ago I reset my HP Envy 6000 to a new wifi address. It seemed ok, the new wifi showed up on HP Smart. But when I tried to print a WORD document, multiple pages of gibberish spewed out (computer symbols, junk, etc.). I tried to install a new driver, may have succeeded? Now when I try to print, the printer simply feeds all blank pages until it empties out the supply. What should I do to fix dilemma.

@Bill98502, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
This sounds like a driver or communication issue between your HP ENVY 6065e and Windows 11, especially after the Wi-Fi reset and driver reinstallation. Let’s walk through the most effective steps to fix this blank page/gibberish printing issue:
Uninstall the Printer Completely
Let’s wipe any corrupt or conflicting drivers first:
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click your HP ENVY 6065e > Remove device.
- Then go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program, and remove HP Smart and HP driver software if listed.
Restart and Clean Up Leftovers
- Restart your PC after uninstalling.
- Go to this folder and delete contents:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
(You may need admin rights. This clears stuck print jobs.)
Reinstall Correct HP Software
Download and install the Full Driver and Software Package for your printer:
- 🔗 HP ENVY 6065e – Software & Drivers for Windows 11.
- Download “HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software”.
- Follow the prompts and connect your printer via Wi-Fi.
Make Sure Printer is Set to Default
- Go to Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 6065e > Click “Set as default”.
Test Print a Word Document Again
- Try printing a basic text-only document.
- If it works, then your driver is now working properly.
Reset Printer (If All Else Fails)
If the issue persists:
- Hold the Wireless button + Cancel button together for 5 seconds.
- This triggers a network and settings reset.
- Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi via the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
