I don't have the boxes, but the outer wrapper of my HP 61XL reads:  MYP1 200800 190214 1534.  The other one reads:

MYP1 210100 190703 0849.   Can someone interpret these numbers and what the exact expiration dates are for both? Thanks.

Hi @galway1ca

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

The numbers mentioned in your post is not the expiration date of the ink cartridge. The warranty date will be printed on the cartridge. It is in the form YYMMDD. HP ink cartridges have a 24months of warranty. For more info on the warranty, refer to this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi, thank you, but I'm trying to sell them and cannot open the packages.  Is there any other way to determine when these expire?  The person I bought them from said she had purchased them in 2019.

The expiration date will be either mentioned on the box of the packaging or on the ink cartridge itself. There is no other methods to check the warranty of the ink cartridge.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

She did not provide me with the box either.  Thanks

In that case, the only way to check the expiration date is to open the ink cartridges from its packaging.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
