Hi @TeckSavy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP LaserJet M2727nf MFP is giving you errors when printing a test page from your HP15 Windows 10 laptop, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Check Printer Connections:
- Ensure the printer is properly connected to your laptop via USB or network.
- If using USB, try a different port or cable.
- If using a network connection, verify that the printer and laptop are on the same network.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager on your laptop and locate your printer under "Printers."
- Right-click on it and select "Update driver."
- You can also download the latest drivers from the HP website and install them manually.
Check Printer Status:
- Make sure the printer is not in an error state (e.g., out of paper, paper jam).
- Check the printer’s display or control panel for any error messages.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP's website. It can diagnose and fix many common printer issues.
Set the Printer as Default:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP LaserJet M2727nf MFP and click on “Manage.”
- Click “Set as default.”
Print a Test Page from Windows:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your printer, click “Manage,” and then “Print a test page.”
Check Printer Queue:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your printer and select “See what’s printing.”
- Clear any pending print jobs that might be causing issues.
Restart Devices:
- Restart your printer and your laptop. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
