HP office Jet 4652 printer goes offline everyday

My HP Office Jet 4652 printer goes offline everyday. It never holds the IP address of the modem. I need help I am tired of pushing the wireless button on the front of the printer and pushing the modem button to connect the two. Help please

Welcome to HP forums.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to check connectivity.

1. Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.

2. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.

3. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.

   • If your printer in not in the list, turn it off and on, and then click Retry.

   • If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.

4. If a screen prompts you to turn on printer updates, click Yes.

5. If a screen prompts you to make your printer the default printer, click Yes.

6. Try to print.

Print network configuration page

1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch (Settings).

2. Touch Print Reports and then touch Network Configuration Page.

3. Locate the printer IP address.

Set a Static IP Address

1. Run your Web browser.
2. In the Web browser’s address bar, type the IP address of your printer and press Enter. Assuming you entered the right address, the HP printer control panel should appear.
3. Click the Networking tab.
4. Under Connections, click Wired.
5. 
6. Under IP Address Configuration, click Manual IP.
7. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway in the appropriate boxes.
8. Click Apply.
