Product: officejet pro 8610
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hi,

My HP officejet pro 8610 turns on and shows Improper Shutdown message then shuts down.  I've tried all the instructions regarding the power cord etc, but it still doesn't work.  Could it be the powersupply?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue and I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
