Photosmart 6515
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hello everyone. I really need help with my printer now. I have a Photosmart 6515 printer that I got from my Dad. I think its 6 years old now or probably a little  bit older than than 6 years. anyway, I just installed new and genuine cartridges and trying to align it but keep having an error like this: " ALIGNEMENT FAILED: YOU MAY CONTINUE BUT CARTRIDGES ARE NOT CALIBRATED FOR BEST PRINT QUALITY. TOUCH OK TO CONTINUE.".

I already look up some troubleshooting guide here with the virtual chat but still cant fix my printer. As a result of the said error, it doesnt have any ink coming out of the print outs. Whats crazy is that my ink is getting low... but no ink coming out in the paper. I dont know what to do now, please help... Thank you in advance. 🙂

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

Are you able to make a copy?

Let's try to reset the Printer here as it helps in removing any stored static electricity from the Printer which might be causing these issues.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  7. NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
  8. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  9. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  10. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue persists, please perform the remaining steps from this document: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-photosmart-6510-e-all-in-one-printer-series-b211/5058334/mod...
