Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Check Power Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to a power source.
  • Check the power cord for any visible damage and ensure it is securely plugged into both the printer and the power outlet.

Perform a Power Reset:

  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and try turning on the printer again.
  • Sometimes a power reset can resolve temporary issues with the printer's internal components.

Check for Jammed Paper or Obstructions:

  • Open the printer's access doors and check for any jammed paper or foreign objects inside the printer.
  • Remove any paper jams or obstructions carefully to avoid damaging the printer's internal components.

Inspect Ink Cartridges:

  • Check the ink cartridges to ensure they are properly installed and seated in their respective slots.
  • Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges to ensure they are making proper contact with the printer.

Check for Overheating:

  • If the printer displayed an error message before shutting down, it's possible that it may have overheated.
  • Allow the printer to cool down for a while before attempting to power it on again.

Test Power Outlet:

  • Plug another electronic device into the same power outlet to verify that the outlet is providing power.

1. Click on this link -  https://support.hp.com/us-en

2. Select the country.

3. Enter the serial number of your device.

4. Select the country from the drop-down.

5. Click on "Show Options".

6. Fill out the web form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
