My Asus laptop is not recognising the printer when it's plugged into the USB port. I'm not sure how to connect it. The laptop has no CD-rom so can't use the drivers. Please advise. Thanks

Thanks for your post. unfortunately that did not work 😕 I even bought a new cable for the printer and thought it's just a connectivity issue but it's not that either. The laptop doesn't seem to recognise the printer as connected at all. The USB port works just fine, I checked. Any other advice?

Make sure you have the USB cable unplugged before starting the installation process specified by the instructions.   Plug the USB cable in only when the software tells you to do so.  Status now?
