How do I reset my printer region from the U.S. to Europe when the printer is out of warranty?  I read that I can only contact HP if my printer is within warranty to change regions to support my ink cartidge needs but I wanted to see if the community has any advise.  

I moved from the U.S. to Germany since I'm in the military.  The local "U.S." stores do not have this product by the german stores do have the necessary cartridges.  What do I need to do to change my region?

You can contact HP support chat on the Facebook page, you should be supported no matter device is out of warranty.
