You can connect to Wi-Fi or to LAN (ethernet) but not both at same time according to users manual..

If near router then run a cat5 or better cable and consider making the IP address static

For Wi-fi use this video

for factory reset this should work if one believes google findings.

How do I reset my HP m234 printer to factory settings?
Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on. Release the Resume button. The Attention and Ready lights cycle while the product restores factory defaults.

Thank you for the prompt reply 🙂 However the issue is that the printer/printer software fails to communicate on either wifi or LAN and as we are on a NHS network - I can not ask for all "HP ports" (below) to be unblocked to get this HP+ software working - I need the documentation to narrow it down really. I have only found these generic port details:

"Make sure HP ports are not blocked. Create rules to allow the following ports, if necessary.

    • Inbound rules: TCP 80, TCP 443, TCP 631, TCP 8080, UDP 427, UDP 3702, UDP 5353
    • Outbound rules: TCP 80, TCP 139, TCP 443, TCP 631, TCP 8080, TCP 9100, TCP 9200, TCP 9290, TCP 9500, UDP 139, UDP 161, UDP 427, UDP 3702, UDP 5353”

Thank you

I have checked the information I have available as an HP service partner and see no list other than the one you posted. You will probably have to create a case a support.hp.com and speak with an HP tech in order to get a more accurate answer.
