Product: Deskjet 1515

My  Deskjet 1515 scanner worked fine with the old HP Scan that came bundled with the printer. But then HP updated it to HP Smart. I could not make it work. It says that it doesn't detect any device for scanning. I delete it and downloaded HP Scan but I get a new version and has the same problem.

I had to download Microsoft Scanner that is using the scanner without a problem but is a too basic tool. The old HP Scan was not marvelous but much better.

Hope you can help me detect why HP Scan does not detect while other software does.
