Product: HP vp6320 Digital Projector

I have an HP vp6320 Digital Projector.  When I turn it on, the lamp comes on normally at first and starts warming up.  After about 1 minute the lamp and fan go off.  About 2 seconds later the lamp and temperature lights blink red for one second and the fan comes back on, but the light does not.  I realize this machine is 16 years old and I have gotten my money's worth out of it.  I just want to make sure this is not some easily fixable problem.  I realize this is not a printer but there is no board for projectors.
