Hi @alex86046,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP DeskJet 2700e All-in-One printer is frequently going offline, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the issue:
1. Ensure the Printer is Set as Default
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet 2700e printer and click Set as default.
2. Turn Off "Use Printer Offline" Setting
- Open the Control Panel and go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP DeskJet 2700e printer and choose See what's printing.
- In the new window, click on the Printer menu at the top and uncheck Use Printer Offline if it's selected.
3. Restart Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
- After restarting, check if the printer stays online.
4. Check Network Connection
- Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- On the printer control panel, print a Wireless Network Test Report:
- Press and hold the Wireless and Information buttons simultaneously to print the report.
- Make sure that the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
5. Reinstall the Printer Drivers
- Uninstall the existing printer drivers from Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Download the latest drivers from the HP support website and install them.
6. Assign a Static IP Address
- Sometimes, network issues can cause the printer to go offline. Assigning a static IP address to your printer can help:
- Open a browser and enter your router's IP address.
- Log in to the router settings and assign a static IP for your printer under DHCP settings.
- You can get the printer's current IP address from the Wireless Network Test Report.
7. HP Smart App (Automatic Fix)
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer and use the Diagnose & Fix feature to automatically troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
