I've just bought a HP2710 Deskjet printer 2nd hand (at least) and I'm having paper feed issues with it from any app on Windows 10 64bit. Any print request causes the printer to pull a sheet of paper in, which then stops as if it is about to print, but nothing then happens. The printer shows a paper feed error and pressing the button to clear it sends that sheet out blank. The strange thing is, that if I use the scan button on the printer (colour or B&W) it will scan the document and print it with no paper feed problems, albeit at a reduced scale but that's a separate issue.
Also, in trying to resolve this, I find I am unable to reset the printer to factory settings (not just to find a new WiFi network) as I can't bypass the need to input a password which I don't have.
Anyone with any better knowledge than me, please advise me what I need to do to resolve both issues.

Hi @davidwmur,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted. -
