Hi @Jai591,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

The 4C02 error code on your HP LaserJet 4350n typically indicates an issue with the printer's engine. This could be related to hardware components such as the fuser, drive motor, or other internal mechanisms. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn the printer off.
  • Disconnect the power cord for 1–2 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and restart.

Clear Print Queue

  • On both your Windows and Mac computers, cancel all pending print jobs.
  • Sometimes a single corrupted PDF or document triggers the error.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to HP’s support site for the LaserJet 4350n.
  • Download and install the latest firmware.
  • Outdated firmware is a common cause of 49.4C02 errors.

Test with a Simple Document

  • Print a plain text file or a simple Word document.
  • If that works, the error was likely caused by a specific file (often complex PDFs).

Check Drivers

  • On Windows: Update the printer driver via Device Manager or HP’s site.
  • On macOS: Remove and re‑add the printer in System Preferences → Printers & Scanners.

Disable Advanced Printing Features (Windows)

  • Go to Devices and Printers → Printer Properties → Advanced tab.
  • Uncheck Enable advanced printing features.
  • This can prevent problematic jobs from crashing the printer.

Take care and have an amazing day!
