Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Drucker nur noch für den Druck von pdf zu gebrauchen. TeXt und Zahlen (Word, Excel, Numbers, ...) wird alles nur als Sonderzeichen gedruckt. angeblich gibt es ein Update Problem der Firmware seitens HP. Arbeiten die daran oder kann man den Drucker vergessen?

Our Printers DW477 prints only special characters (squares) out of preview, MS Word etc. Pictures are OK. This is since the last firmware update MAVEDWPP1N001.2132A.00 (2021-08-02)

Computer: MacBook Pro, macOS Big Sur 11.5.4

Printer: HP Pagewide Pro 477DW

Driver: AirPrint 

There are several discussions to find. Uninstall and reinstall as a PCL-Driver works but without several functions.

Downgrade (1921) is another possibility but there are no official downloads.

We have two of these printers in our company. Our Windows-PCs don't have these issues.
