Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HPLJ mfp200 M276nw error code 79. continuously reboots printer only when ethernet cord plugged in.

this printer been working fine on our network, all of a sudden all our 276s and 277s continuously reboot printer.

disconnecting ethernet, it stops rebooting, and printer works fine with usb. does not work wirelessly either.

Also, several printers at the same day started error codes 79. m276 and m277nw. coincidence? windows 10 updates?

these are laser jet color printers. purchased for ability to network.  plugged into wall power outlet, plugged into rj45 directly, into a gb hp switch. has worked for several years.

Any ideas on the fix yet?

79 errors are typically related to either incompatible drivers or network issues. That the error stops when removed from the network pretty much confirms that. You need to determine which IP address is communicating when this error occurs and then clear the print spool and possibly reinstall drivers on the offending computer. Wireshark is likely your friend here. Updating the firmware may also help, which you can do via usb to avoid the errors.
