I have an IMac and an HP Envy 7640. I don't have any trouble printing anything on paper but when I try to print envelopes it just makes some noise and then ejects a blank envelope. I have looked at every you tube video I can find on the subject and tried everything they have suggested but nothing makes it work. I can put paper back in and it prints fine. Can you help me?

Hey there! @ChattanoogaSam, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you have issues printing envelopes from your printer.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you any changes to your printer?
What application are you using to print envelopes?
What size of the envelope are you trying to print from your printer?
I have checked the printer specifications and please find the supported envelopes on your printer. If you are using a different type or size of an envelope, you may not be able to print.
Media sizes supported (U.S. standard)
Letter, Legal, 4 x 6 in, 5 x 7 in, 8 x 10 in, No. 10 envelopes
Media sizes, custom
76 x 127 to 216 x 356 mm (3 x 5 to 8.5 x 14 in)

I have tried each of these applications. From pages and from contacts. I have chosen legal size envelopes on my computer and on my printer. It makes a whirring noise then spits out a blank envelope. I will try it again, though.
