Hi @Tchalmers,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Error codes on printers, including the HP OfficeJet 4650, can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. The error code OXB9380FC6 doesn't have a specific meaning without additional context, but here are some general steps you can follow.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet and the back of the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Ensure there are no paper jams in the printer. Open all access doors and remove any jammed paper.
Inspect for Obstructions:
- Check for any obstructions in the printer, such as foreign objects or torn pieces of paper.
Update Firmware:
- Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware may resolve certain issues.
Reset the Printer:
- Perform a factory reset on the printer. Note that this will reset all settings to their default values.
- Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink. If any cartridge is low or empty, replace it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
