I am having issues printing full page photos or graphics.
When I attempt to print an 8X10 color photo or most recently a full page of business cards from my computer, there are white lines across the page at what appears to be randon intervals. This occurs even when I convert the cards to a PDF and print from the computer (HP Pavilion if it helps).
When I print directly from the printer using a SD card (8.5X11 is the only option) there are no lines.
What can I do to remedy this problem?

There are a few things to check - what type media are you printing on? If you are printing on photo paper make sure the proper photo paper type is selected in the media/quality setting. Printing on photo paper with plain paper print settings will result in poor streaky results. It may also help to change the Quality setting to Best.
I am not an employee of HP, I am a volunteer posting here on my own time.

Thank you for your prompt response.
I use HP photo paper with Photoshop Elements and usually set the printer for photo paper which has custon quality settings.
For the business cards, changing the quality to best did resolve the problem. I don't know why I did not think about it.
Thanks for helping an old guy.
