Ink Tank 415
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought and setup a new Ink Tank 415. But when I print, the top of the page always breaks with white horizontal lines as shown below. Tried realignment and it does not work. Please help. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Clean the printheads using the HP software, and then evaluate the results.

  1. Open or search for the HP folder in your list of installed software applications, click the folder for your printer, and then click the name of your printer.

    HP Printer Assistant opens.

  2. On the HP Printer Assistant window, click Maintain Your Printer.

  3. Click the Device Services tab, and then click Clean Ink Cartridges.

A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

If the issue persists, please perform the remaining steps from this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05627782

Cleaning printhead twice did help once. But soon, the problem happens again. It is like every time I print any document, I have to print 2 or 3 times to get a good copy. The first few prints will be bad.

I opened HP Smart and found this error message saying that the cartridge is not communicating correctly. How do I solve this? Here is a screenshot.
