Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums with your reset inquiry.

 

I understand that you have an HP Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter and you are requesting reset information. I would like to help with that.

 

What is going on with your printer? Usually resets are done in a last resort situation. The most used reset is the Power Reset.

 

 

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

This did not help with resetting the printer's password protection from being password protected to being open/not password protected. How can I reset the printer to be open?

Hi @rweissenberger,

 

Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry for the late reply as i was out of the office. The only other reset I can find was found on page 71 of the HP Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter User Guide.
