Basically, the bottom half of almost every line is cutting off. Sometimes when the font is small enough it will cut off the whole line. I tried resetting the printer in both the partial and semi-full settings, cleaned the cartridges, and tried to align the cartridges but since the lines are always cut off the scans wouldn't go through. Also, the little drawings (like the printer in the alignment page) on every diagnostic report that is printed straight from the settings are always cut several times. I really don't know what else I can do. I really don't want to go out and buy a new one since this one has only been used for practically a few months. Can anyone help? Any suggestions are welcome!

Hi @meli99
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
I appreciate your efforts in resolving this issue by performing all possible troubleshooting steps.
- Do you have the same issue while printing/copying in black and color?
- Have you tried changing the ink cartridges and check if the issue persists?
- This printer supports printing in single-cartridge mode. Try this to identify the defective ink cartridge.
Make sure the printer firmware is up to date
On the printer, go to Setup > Tools > Update the printer > Check now
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
