How can I clean the printhead of an HP PageWide 477? Can I clean it manually with isopropanol?

HP Recommended

To access printhead (printbar) you will need to have "special" tools from HP and "special" HP slider to remove printbar. Authorised services should have that tools.

Cleaning printhead with alcohol isn't recommended, you can buy special solvents for inkjet printers, but the biggest problem is to access printbar on PW477

or does the head have to be removed? do you know the CleaningPad from HP? HP CN459-67006 ... would it help here?

If you have one white line then it might help, but your print is horrible and I doubt you will fix it with a cleaning pad kit.

Can you please included a copy of both pages of the Print Status Report?

Also, have you been using non HP ink in the printer?
