Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Wireless connection is very inconsistent, most of the time devices see the printer but it is "offline".  The only way to get the printer to connect is to print a test page and this does not always work.

I've tried connecting to the USB connection on the BT Hub 6 but cannot get the Hub to recognise that the printer is there.

I've also tried connecting via a USB/ethernet adaptor to the BT Hub 6 but cannot get the Hub to recognise that the printer is there.

I think I'm doing something wrong :-), can anyone assist me with some how to guidance or links.

TIA Jon

@Fixable

Firstly your printer does not support Bluetooth (BT) therefore BT is out of question. It also does not have Wired (Ethernet) jack therefore using LAN cable to connect is also out of question.

You don't want to use wireless therefore the only available option: using USB. You can

(a) Connect USB to one computer and use that computer as a print server or

(b) Connect USB to a wireless print server,  or

(c) Connect USB to a wireless router which can act as a print server.

Now please select one option which is suitable for your existing hardware then go from there.

Regards.
