I just want to be able to instantly cancel a parint. How is this done? My old HP had a cancel button that I used all the time. Is there something this easy on the 8720?

If it's in there, the "cancel" print on the printer control panel might be in the Dashboard as decribed in the User Guide, Page 9
Print Queue Reset
Try / Consider:
Restart print services and clear the print folder
- Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > Services >
- Scroll down, find, and Stop Print Spooler Service
- Delete files from C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
- Start Print Spooler Service

i click the delete button and it pauses printing, then continues. it will NOT delete the job. I need to go into settings on the computer and delete from there.
what I've read is that you need to pull out the power cord and then plug it back in. REALLY?
Why can't i delete it from the printer control panel? this one document was 120 pages long and i started trying to delete at page 2.

The window (Time allowed) to cancel the document on the front panel is very short.
Cancel at the printer panel only works until the job is turned over to the control software.
